Case studies share your best projects in the words of your delighted clients. They’re powerful because they combine proof you deliver with insights into your process, all wrapped up in an easy to read story format. And they’re great at closing the deal. The 2018 Content Preferences Survey Report said 79% of B2B buyers read case studies before a purchase.


Here’s how your case study process rolls

1.Brief

We agree who your case study is for, and who you’ll feature. We’ll also discuss your angle. How can we use this story to add value to your clients?

4. Write & edit

I write first cut of your case study, along with meta data. Then I’ll make any edits, if required.

2. Introductions

You approach your clients, ask their permission to write a case study about their project, and intro them to me. I’ve an email template to make this easy.

5. Sign off

I send the case study to your client for their review and approval and make any final edits they request.

3. Interviews

I interview the project owner at your end, then I interview your client. These interviews take half an hour, and I transcribe them using rev.com.

6. Publish

I supply you with the finished text for you to publish on your website, supply to your designer, and use on social.

Your case study investment

Long case studies for websites

I write long form story case studies for websites. Typically, these are 1,000 to 1,500 words.

Your case study package includes:

  • Discovery interview with you.

  • Interview with your client.

  • Writing your case study and editing if required.

  • Sending the case study to your client for their approval.

  • Final edits from client, if required.

Case studies start at $900 + GST for a case study with one client interview + transcription costs

Short case studies for pitches

I can also adapt your long form case study into a shorter 500-600-word snack sized case study for portfolios and competitive pitch proposals.

A shorter version of your case study costs an additional $150 + GST.

Please note, I don’t offer short-form case studies as a stand alone service because they still require the full discovery and interview process.

transcription costs

I use rev.com for transcriptions and pass those costs on directly to you. Transcriptions cost US$0.25 per minute. You’re welcome to have copies of the transcriptions for your files. These are gold for client quotes.
